As a chuckle rubs against a sob in his throat, he knee-walks his way over to her and Pea, encircling the both of them in his arms, tucking his chin against the crown of her head as he inhales the sweet, familiar scent of her skin and hair. That alone is enough to bring his tears to the forefront, and they spill over his cheeks and into her hair, a sob wracking his whole body in a shuddering breath. ]
